Yes. With over 800 bridal gowns and in order for you to have the best experience possible, we request that you schedule an appointment. We like to give each bride our undivided attention and will reserve one of our premium, oversized dressing rooms just for the bride and her party. Our consultants work one-on-one with you to find the perfect style and dress while keeping your budget in consideration.

Dresses can take up to 4-5 months to produce, since it is being made to order. When you factor in shipping and alterations, it could be a 6 month total process. We suggest deciding on a dress 6-9 months prior to your wedding date, so you have time built in for fittings and accessorizing. There are rush options for weddings under 6 months, but rush fees do apply. Once you have decided on “The Dress”, we will take an extensive set of measurements and discuss any changes that need to be made such as raising the neckline or adding extra length, etc. You may want to add straps to a dress or buttons down the back. All of these things will be decided at this time. If you have chosen to have a bridal portrait, then you might consider ordering your gown 8 to 10 months prior to your wedding. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t have that much time to find a dress, we do have some of our designers who can accommodate a rush order on a gown for an additional fee. So don’t let the timing worry you, please stop in and visit us and we will work with you on finding the perfect dress that can be ordered quickly.

We will order the dress as close to your current size as possible, but most bridal gowns will require alterations to have the perfect fit in order for you feel your most beautiful and comfortable on your wedding day. All alterations are handled outside of the boutique; since a tailor’s shop has all the necessary tools at their fingertips and are better able to complete any last minute changes you may want to make to your gown. We have partnered with some local expert tailors that have many years of experience with wedding alterations. We suggest that before picking up your gown you contact a tailor to schedule your appointment to start the fitting process. When purchasing your dress we will be glad to recommend a list of tailors to choose from. Standard alterations typically run around $100 – $500, depending on the changes made to the gown. When adding sleeves or making other significant customizations, final pricing will run slightly higher.
When recommend that you schedule your first bridal fitting with the seamstress 8-12 weeks before your wedding. You will typically need between 2-4 fittings to achieve the perfect fit. Each fitting will last approximately one hour. You can schedule to meet with the seamstress at our store or at their main location. We recommend finalizing all alterations 1-3 weeks before your wedding day.
