What Wedding Workshop has to say about this Partner:
Talk about skills with a brush…Lauren is truly an artist when she enhances her client’s natural beauty. She listens and collaborates and her talents go beyond applying makeup. She knows all about skin types, tone, and what colors will be a perfect compliment to the dress or attire her clients wear. Her years of experience show in the way she’s patient, efficient and takes control of managing an entire bridal party. We love the fact that she uses high end cosmetics so you feel like a movie star getting ready for your big red carpet wedding. She’s absolutely gorgeous inside and out and you won’t be able to stop looking at yourself in the mirror after she’s worked her magic!
What makes you different?
My level of experience sets me apart. I have done makeup for commercials, music videos, print, celebrities that have come into town and more. I worked with some of the #1 Cosmetic companies in the world, educated and taught classes. I really love what I do and it’s an art to be a makeup artist. You have to see bone structure and know how to highlight areas needed. I also stay current in educating myself on the latest products and trends which are forever changing.
What would be your “Walking Up to Home Plate” song that gets you pumped up?

Below is an extensive Q&A we hope you find valuable and gives you an insight into the quality of work you can expect from this vendor.
My career has been 20 years long. BeautyByBroxie turns 8 years young this year.
I do many weddings solo if they have an open timeline but when its short and the party is large then I do have a team of artists that can step in to help.
I come on location the day of your event
Yes, I can do a trial run and its $75
Trial runs allow myself and the Bride to get to know each other and allows me to investigate skin, coloring, product issues
I love when clients bring pictures of what they hope to achieve but I also have boards on my Pinterest that they can look at
I bring all the products needed. I use a lot of different products from Chanel, Lancome, CoverFX, and tons of other high end products found at Sephora and Nordstrom.
Yes, I have worked with many different makeup companies over the last 20yrs teaching and educating on applying makeup and choosing the right foundation shade for their skin and I’ve done men and women.
I rarely book two weddings in one day unless they are in the same area and have different timelines. I have done a wedding in the morning and another event after.
Weddings: By Person
Large Weddings: Package Deal
Events/Photoshoots: Per hour depending on the needs of the client
I currently do not charge to travel on location in STL. There is a travel fee if you are 45 minutes or beyond the city and that will depend on time and how many artists are needed for your event.
Depends on the level of makeup needed. I usually can finish someone in 15-30min but for a Bride around 45min are needed.
If a Bride wants to book me for touchup that prices is separate and depends on location and what is needed for that day and timeline. I always touchup everyone that needs it before I leave.
I do my best to have an artist on backup if something should happen. But I also let the Bride know that when signing her contract that accidents can happen and she will be taken care of by another artist if an issue arises.
Deposit depends on the total for the wedding but usually $100-$275 depending on size of wedding.
Balance is due the day before the event. I always contact the client the week of their event to touch base and go over timeline and talk about final payment.
If an event is canceled no refunds will be honored. In this case the artist will accommodate an equal value of makeup application. If an event is canceled the artist retains the right to book other work on that day unless the contract is fulfilled in its entirety on the same day. When a Bride signs her contract she can read all options if the event is canceled and ways we can still service her party.
