What Wedding Workshop has to say about this Partner:

Mad Skills.  Emma is one of the most talented calligraphers on the block.  It’s mesmerizing to watch her in action as she effortlessly creates beautiful works of art; kind of like a human zen garden when you’re in her presence.  She can address your wedding invitations to make you look like a big fancy pants or she can personalize a wall hanging that would beautifully display your wedding vows or inspirational sayings.  You will also find her around the Workshop hosting classes and other spots around town.

What makes you different?

I approach calligraphy not as a stuffy or traditional medium, but as a way for you to bring a beautiful element of hand-created art into your wedding day. There is nothing that I love more than writing names, and I know how touched guests can be when they see their names written elegantly in the form of an envelope, seating chart, or place card. My work is different because it is approachable and human but still beautiful. I know how discouraging it can be to see gorgeous images (cough, cough, Pinterest) and feel like you’ll never be able to create that yourself. I want to help bridge the gap between the ideal dream wedding and what is attainable in “real life” (and within budget). I hope that a client books me over another vendor because of this approach – I love working with brides who are real, down to earth, but still know that they’re deserving of a gorgeous wedding day with beautiful calligraphy!

What would be your “Walking Up to Home Plate” song that gets you pumped up?
