We’re glad you found us. Boo Cat Club is devoted to bringing together people in unexpected, extraordinary ways in a space that’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. We’ll give your event a little extra spark. Promise. Throwing weekend-long celebrations is a favorite pastime of ours. That’s why we love hosting weddings—from the rehearsal dinner to the bouquet toss and beyond. Our adaptable spaces allow for open bars, ceremonies, round-table seating, buffets, and, of course, enough space for every guest to do the duck dance, the new couple to be paraded around on chairs, or for the fire eater to do his thing.

Designed by St. Louis architect Louis C. Spiering, 812 North Union was built by and for the members of the St. Louis Artists’ Guild, whose mission was to promote a high standard of art appreciation and to support the city’s working artists. The Guild sold the building Dignity House in 1973, a community outreach nonprofit that used the space until 2013 when Patrick and Carol Schuchard purchased the building and revamped it to reflect its original design and use, plus something a little extra.

We do! We are happy to share our list to all of our potential clients, and if you have your heart set on a certain vendor we welcome them too!

There is not an on-site caterer, so you get to choose from a list of all of our favs! Or if you have another company in mind that works too.

We typically leave that up to the DJ, but we have our own sound system and microphones if anyone in your party wants to direct the show.

For sure! We have many rooms to choose from.

Our Main Floor space seats up to 200 guests, standing room for up to 350. Our Catacombs space fits 140 seated.

Four hours before the event begins. If you’d like to get in earlier we can accommodate to that as well.
We have a women’s and men’s restroom on the main and lower floor of the venue, each with multiple stalls.
We provide the glassware, and our caterers provide the rest!

Of course! Our theatre room makes for the perfect dance hall, and even has a stage if you want your band or dj on display.

Our sound equipment is only for background music. If you’d like dancing music you must provide a dj.
Yes, there is onsite and street parking available for no extra fee, guaranteed to fit all of your guests.
Yes! The cost depends on the estimated guest count.
We provide a fantastic event manager that will be at the venue from start to finish.
We are not outdoors, but our lovely Catacombs area makes for the perfect ceremony or cocktail hour location.
No need to worry! We are all inside! Although our front doors make for a dreamy photo backdrop.
We have a coat room, and if you would like an attendant that would be an additional cost?
Yes and yes! We have many different areas to choose from to set up a gift table.
We have a lovely bridal suite where your party can keep their belongings, change clothes, take a breather, etc.
Extend the party! Additional event time: $500/Hour
We kindly ask that all of your belongings are collected no longer than half an hour after the end of the rental time.
Our deposit is a flat rate of $1500- which comes out of your grand total owed.

After your deposit of $1500, your next payment due is 6 months out from your big day, then 3 months out, and your final payment due is 2 weeks before the event date.

You would no longer be responsible for future payments due.
